Refund policy

Applies to deliveries made in Paris and the inner suburbs.


1. Scope

This policy applies to all orders placed on the website LaLavanda by Fleurs des Batignolles, operating in Paris, for the sale and delivery of flowers, plants, and floral accessories.

By placing an order on our website, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted this policy.


2. Nature of the Products and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

The supply of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, such as fresh flowers and plants.

Therefore:

  • Bouquets, floral arrangements, and plants cannot be returned or exchanged, except in cases where the product is defective or not as described.

  • Non-perishable accessories (vases, cards, candles, decorations, etc.) may be returned under the conditions specified in Article 6.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Non-Conforming Products

If a delivered product is damaged or non-conforming (wrong model, incorrect bouquet, wilted flowers, etc.):

  • The customer must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at shop@lalavanda.fr or by phone at +33 6 15 36 27 27.

  • A photo of the product must be attached to allow for verification.

After review:

  • We will offer either a free replacement or a full or partial refund, depending on the situation.

  • No claim will be accepted more than 48 hours after delivery, given the perishable nature of the products.


4. Order Cancellation

  • An order may be cancelled free of charge as long as it has not yet been prepared.

  • If preparation is already in progress or the delivery is scheduled, cancellation may no longer be possible or may incur processing fees (e.g., 30% of the order amount).

  • In case of an incorrect address or the recipient’s absence, re-delivery fees will be charged to the customer.


5. Delivery Errors or Delays

We make every effort to ensure delivery on the requested date.
However:

  • In case of a delivery delay due to circumstances beyond our control (weather conditions, traffic, strikes, etc.), no automatic refund will be issued.

  • If non-delivery is attributable to our service, a full refund will be provided.


6. Returns of Non-Perishable Products

For non-perishable items (vases, accessories, etc.):

  • The customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal.

  • The product must be returned unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • A refund will be issued within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.

7. Freshness Guarantee

We guarantee the freshness of our flowers for 5 to 7 days after delivery, provided they are properly cared for (clean water, room temperature, no direct sunlight).
Any claims regarding flower freshness beyond this period cannot be accepted.
